To promote and protect the interests of those involved in the production and distribution of essential packaging materials in the paper corrugating and box-making industries.
To assist organization establishments or institutions for the manufacture and sale of corrugated boards and boxes in markets, syndicates, or boards with such functions and duties as may be assigned to them from time to time.
To survey and investigate markets for corrugated boards and other allied products, both in and out of the country.
To urge governments, both at the state and national levels, to pass legislation, statutes, and other measures, and to take such steps to secure corrections and improvements to those legislations, statutes, and measures that will provide relief and benefit of members of the corrugated box making industries.
To communicate with Chambers of Commerce, trade and industrial associations, other commercials, and public bodies, both within and outside the country, to promote measures for the protection and improvement of the corrugated box manufacturing industry and those associated with it.
To collect, maintain, and disseminate statistics and other information about the corrugated box manufacturing industry.
To develop just principles and fair trade practices, as well as to impose such conditions for the conduct of manufacturing, trade, and business that will form a code of discipline among members in particular and others in the industry. In general, such principles and practices are in the best interests of all suppliers and consumers.
Promotion and advancement of commercial and technical education in various branches of craft and science may tend to develop trade, commerce, and industries, including Cottage industries, particularly those related to corrugated boards, boxes, and allied products.
To develop and implement standards for required raw materials, finished goods, and allied products of the industry by the Indian Standards Institution or their institutions, government agencies, or other authorities, industry , associations of any other industry.
To assist, encourage, and establish classes for the development of knowledge and information related to the corrugating and box-making industries through the organization of discussions, lectures, correspondence courses, or the holding of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Establish educational libraries, classes, and workshops for training, promotions and dissemination of useful knowledge that will benefit those in the corrugating and box-making industries, as well as look after the welfare of skilled unemployed people in the field.
Scholarships or donations in cash or kind are given to deserving students pursuing special training in the field.
To publish or subscribe to periodicals, journals, and books relevant to the corrugated box industry.
To affiliate with any Chamber of Commerce, CODISSIA or any associations to admit any of them. Also to aid or receive aid in any form from any other society, or Chamber of Commerce, association, business house, any individual for promoting, to intend and promote any of the Association’s aims and objects.
To invest money and property of the Association that is not immediately required for the purposes of its business in such securities and in such a manner as prescribed by current law or as determined from time to time.
Accept and receive any gifts, donation, contribution, endowment, subscription in any form, conditionally or unconditionally, from any member of the Association or other sources, or any philanthropist, association, or public body or otherwise establish funds or endowments for the protection or attainment of the Association’s aims and objects, and to invest the same in the manner prescribed by law or determined from time to time.
To acquire lands, buildings, or other properties, movable or immovable, as the association may think of from time to time, through purchase, lease, or otherwise.
To do anything else that will aid in the development of trade, commerce, and industry as it relates to the corrugating industry or will be incidental to the achievement of the Association’s aims and objectives.
