The South India Corrugated Box Manufacturers’ Association (SICBMA), Coimbatore Chapter, successfully conducted its 31st Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, 6th September 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Poppys Valley Hotel, Thirumuruganpoondi, Avinashi Road, Tiruppur.
This milestone gathering was a proud occasion for the Chapter, commemorating over three decades of collective growth, collaboration, and progress within the corrugated box manufacturing industry.
As part of the proceedings, members reviewed the accounts, discussed the current marketing scenario and the impact of the paper price increase, and agreed on necessary post-actions to address the issue and safeguard industry interests.
The meeting also featured a presentation on “AI Employees”, introducing the concept of Artificial Intelligence as a digital workforce for packaging companies. The presentation highlighted how AI-powered employees can support and enhance various functions across different departments, helping businesses improve productivity, efficiency, decision-making, and overall operational performance.
